Women are actually ahead in sports from men.......In RIO OLYMPICS 2016, all women only brought medals for INDIA when it was going to be eliminated..........It is also a lesson for those orthodox Indians who think women inferior to men......

Status of women in sports field in India has been improved  compared to the early years. Despite it that women  are being discriminated in india  and men being favored in the field of sports the state has been improved. There has been introduction of club life in India where facilities  that have been introduced  favor the ladies. Ladies such as the Rajkumari Amrit Kaur who wasthe minister for health was a  good example to show that the status of the ladies  in the field of sports was improved. She participated in tennis which brought hope for the india ladies.  In the cases of gender bias it is still there in the field of sports in imdia because most of the coaches even in the female teams are men and this failure to give women opportunity to venture in to the field of sports has became a major challage in growth of women in sports.
