The steps involved in magnetizing magnetic stripe with the help of magnets are:
(1) Take the iron strip to be magnetised.
(2) Store on a wooden table.
(3) Hold one end of the bar magnet in your hand and store the other end of the bar magnet near one edge of the iron strip.
(4) Without lifting, move it along the iron strip until you reach the other side. (5) After reaching the end of the iron strip, lift the bar magnet and bring it to the same position and repeat the process again and again.
(6) Bring some iron filings near the iron strip to check whether it has been a magnet. Otherwise, continue the same process for more time.
