Indian Government has taken many steps to reduce unemployment. Some Steps are:-
1. Government has encouraged people to start small scale industries. 
2. Government has given some benefits to small scale industries.
3.The government has also launched some programmes namely Training for Rural Youth for Self-Employment (TRYSEM) and Jawahar Rozgar Yojana.
