Cells of nervous tissue have ability to respond to stimuli. They respond stimuli from one part of body to another. Cells of this tissue are called neuron or nerve cells. They contain long parts called axon and small parts called dentrites.

Message passed through nerve fibres was are called nerve impulses. They help to move muscles when we want to.
