Answer; The outside of the nucleus is covered in a membrane called the nuclear envelope, which includes an outer and inner membrane. This membrane is covered in nuclear pores. Nucleoplasm surrounds the centre of the nucleus, as does chromatin (consisting of DNA, RNA and several other proteins unwound, unlike chromosomes, which are tightly packed DNA). In the centre of the nucleus is the nucleolus.
