The general structure of RNA
The general structure of RNADNA is present within all living organisms and contains genetic information. The backbone of RNA contains ribose rather than 2'-deoxyribose, present in DNA. Ribose has a hydroxyl group at 2' position. The nucleotides that form DNA are adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C) and thymine (T).
