the main organ of the human excretory system is kidney. it is reddish Brown and Bean shaped structure, located towards the back of the abdominal cavity, one on each side of the backbone. the left kidney is placed a little higher than the right kidney to adjust in the abdominal cavity. there's a symmetry is caused by position of the liver.
each kidney contains millions of nephrons which are responsible for formation of urine.
