HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :

Mitochondria was disvered by kolliker and named by benda.
Mitochondria is double membrane bound cell organelle it has two membranes inner and outer membrane. Inner membrane is folded in the form of finger like projection called cristae and has rounded bodies called oxysomes.
the folds of inner membrane create a large surface area for ATP generating chemical reactions . Mitochondria have their own circular DNA and 70s type ribosome with help then making some of their own proteins .
Mitochondria are the sites of cellular respiration and also known as powerhouse of the cell as they synthesise energy rich molecules ATP.
PLEASE MARK IT BRAINLIEST .

asma27ansari: Which membrane of Mitochondria is semi-permeable: Outer membrane or the Inner membrane?
jagrativanya: Outer membrane of mitochondria is semi permeable
