Nucleus is the most important Cell organelle kf Cell which is present in both animal amd Plant cells. Nucleus is surrounded by layer of two membrane which have a tiny pores through which material is transported. Nucleus is also known as Headquarter of cell. Nucleus have liquid known as Nucleoplasm. It Contains Nucleolus and Chromosomes. The Chrosomoes have rode shaped structure. Chromatin is a thread like structure which condenses to form chromosomes. Chromosomes contains DNA and Protien. The Functional unit of DNA is Genes. It also Contains RNA.

Functions of Nucleus.

  • It helps in growth and Development of body by directing Chemical activities of the cell.

  • It transferres the Character of Parents to off springs.

  • It Control all the metabolic activities of the cell.

  • It helps in Cellular Respiration.
