Answer:

Gastric gland has cells like peptic cells,

Oxyntic cells, goblet cells and argentaffin cells. Peptic cells secrete pepsinogen , oxyntic cells secrete HCl , goblet cells secrete mucus which protects stomach fromHCl and argentaffin cells secrete gastric hormones like histamine, serotonin gastrin etc.

End product of gastric digestion is chyme which contains undigested fats, partially digested proteins and carbohydrates. Partial digestion of carbohydrates occur in mouth and that of proteins in stomach with the help of pepsin which is active form of pepsinogen.

Answer:

Gastric gland, any of the branched tubules in the inner lining of the stomach that secrete gastric juice and protective mucus.

The stomach has three layers of muscle: an outer longitudinal layer, a middle circular layer, and an inner oblique layer. The inner lining consists of four layers: the serosa, the muscularis, the submucosa, and the mucosa. The mucosa is densely packed with gastric glands, which contain cells that produce digestive enzymes, hydrochloric acid, and mucus.
