$\textbf{Transverse Section of Spinal Cord - }$

While cutting a spinal cord transversely we will see a grey coloured butterfly shaped structure which is surrounded by white coloured structure. Grey coloured sturcture is known as $\textit{Grey Matter}$ and the white part is known as $\textit{White Matter}$. It's posterior part is shows Dorsal Horn while anterior part shows Ventral Horn. Grey Matter is made up of Neurons and White matter is made up of Axon (nerve fibres).
