There were two types of taxes payed by third estate
1.Tithe. .
It was the tax payed by third estate to the clergy group. It comprised one tenth of agricultural produce .
2.Taille .
It was the tax levied by nobility from third estate. This tax was a direct tax given to Estate.
Number of indirect taxes were levied on articles of everyday consumption like salt or tobacco.
