The correct spelling is inertia.
It is tendency of a body to oppose or resist any change in its state of motion or rest is called inertia.
Inertia depends on the mass of an object.
More is its mass, more it's inertia.
Hope it helps my friend.............

saismruti787: this is because of inertia
Nitkshkumar: ya! sorry for it.
saismruti787: and also when you jump out from a moving vehicle you fall which is because of inertia
saismruti787: because the upper part of the body is in motion while the lower part of the body comes to rest that's the reason why you fall
saismruti787: if you run some time after coming down then you can prevent yourself from falling
saismruti787: hope it helps you................
Nitkshkumar: but why it no happen ? when we are standing on the floor
saismruti787: because the whole body remains at rest
saismruti787: no force is resisting it
larissamarie202: mark him as brainliest was a great help☺
