The simplest test for sodium and potassium when both are present is flame test. The test is given below :-
Just put your solution on flame if it gives yellow flame(when we see it from naked eyes) then sodium is present and if it shows purple-red flame (when we see it from blue glass ) then potassium is also present in the same solution.

Best of luck ;)

Flame test is used to identify the metal ion found in an ionic compound . If the compound is placed in the flame of burner , there may be characteristics colour given off by metal that can be seen by naked eyes.
--->If the salt containing sodium and potassium is put on flame test it emits yellow light when viewed with naked eyes.
--->Purple red for potassium in the presence of sodium when viewed through blue glass.
