⏺accessibility - accessibility of food means, food must be within the reach. each and every people can access to food.
⏺affordability - affordability means, all people must have enough money to purchase sufficient quality and quantity of food. the price must not be too high.
in our country, a large section people are food insecure. food insecure are those people who aren't able to access, afford food or food isn't available to them. the reason might be because they are very poor or because of any natural disaster or calamity.
that's why government started many schemes to decrease the percentage of food insecure people. and yeah, it's decreasing.. buffer stock, PDS (public distribution system) and other schemes helped a lot.
