The French society was divided into 3 societies :
• Clergy ( 1st Estate)
• Nobility (2nd Estate )
• Common people. ( 3rd Estate)
Clergy had the people of Roman Catholic church and were members of parliament.
Nobility was the estate of wealthy people and kings family.
Third estate contained Common people, peasants, workers and businessmen.
There was no taxation for First two estates but for 3rd estates. Some of them couldn't afford huge taxes and in return remainder hungry and died of starvation.
