There are 3 ranges of Himalayas :-
● Himadri :-
It is the northern range of Himalayas. It consists of Loftiest peaks with an average height of 6000m. It contains all the prominent peaks. It is also known as Inner Himalayas.
● Himachal :-
It lies to the south of Himadri. Average height is between 3700 to 4500m. It is also known as Lesser Himalayas.
● Shiwaliks :-
This is the outermost range of the Himalayas. Its height varies between 900 and 1100m. This is also known as Outer Himalayas.
