Describe the time period spent by Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Sultanpur Lodhi.

Guru Nanakji lived with his elder sister Bibi Nanaki and her husband Bhai Jai Ram in Sultanpur Lodhi.

He accepted the job of Modi or manager in a store of Nawab Daulat Khan Lodhi.  His devoted followers formed a group or sangat in Sultanpur and several religious events occurred here.

Guru Nanak washed himself every morning in Kali Bein, a small stream on the western side of the town.

Then he used to meditate under a ber or date tree, which he continued for more than 14 years.
