Explanation:

Toto was a mischievous monkey and was always up to something. Once during lunchtime, a plate of rice was kept on the dining table. But to the family’s horror, they discovered that the rice which they were supposed to eat, was already half-eaten by Toto and when interrupted, Toto threw a plate at the narrator’s grandmother, water the faces of his aunt, and fled from there along with the plate, when grandfather approached him.

When the author’s family realized that Toto was not worthy enough to be kept at home, the author’s grandfather sold him for 3 rupees to the same tonga driver from whom he had purchased it.
