Transportation in plants is an interesting process. It includes the transport of all the nutrients and water to all parts of the plant for its survival. In case of plants, the biggest concern is the transport of water and it terminates at the limiting factor depending on its growth. To overcome this problem, a tree uses several processes like Translocation, Storing, Absorption and Utilization of waterTransportation is the process of transporting water, minerals and food to all parts of the plant body.

The uptake and release of water and solute by individual cells.
