Describe the type of hydrophily in vailisneria.
Answers
Answer:
In Vallisneria the male flowers become detached and float on the surface of the water; the anthers are thus brought in contact with the stigmas of the female flowers. Surface hydrophily has been observed in several species of Potamogeton as well as some marine species.

Lets discuss the process of pollination in Zostera:-
In Zostera, the pollens float on the surface of water. While female flower produce long structures which extend upto the surface of the water and forms a coil like structure surrounds these pollens and pulls them underwater and hence, the pollination occurs.
