There are 2 tyoes of lichen :-

( a ) Based On fungal memeber

( i ) Ascolichen = Fungal member is of ascomycetes ...

( ii ) Basidiolichen = Fungal member if of basidiomycetes...

( b ) based on thw thallus structure :-

( i ) Crustose = Thallus ( Flat )

( ii ) Foliose = Thallus ( leaf like )

( iii ) Frutose = Thallus ( Shrub like ).....
