Layers of the Earth's Atmosphere
The atmosphere thins out until it reaches space. The troposphere is where weather occurs. You breathe the air in the troposphere. Many rock fragments from space burn up in the mesosphere.
There are four types of primary flakes in the atmosphere of earth, they are Stratosphere, Troposphere, Thermosphere, and Mesosphere.
Let's discuss each of them and how it relates to the earth.
- Troposphere
It is the layer in which we exist. It is called the low most layer of the earth and nearly every season arises in this layer. Nearly (75%- 80%) of the heap of the environment is present in the troposphere.
- Stratosphere
The second layer is called Stratosphere from the bottom and is just above the troposphere. The Stratosphere is made of oxygen and nitrogen and it also consists ozone layer, which absorbs the harmful ultraviolet (UV) that comes from the sun.
- Mesosphere
The coldest zone of the upper atmosphere is the Mesosphere which is about (30 and 50 miles) above the surface of the earth. It also protects the earth from large meteoroids.
- Thermosphere
The Thermosphere is the thickest layer of the atmosphere, which is about 80km above our planet. It contains two layers of its own called exosphere and ionosphere.
