Franz saw that there was no bustle in the school that morning and also m.hamel didn't scold him for being late and not learning the rule of participles.He also saw that m.hamel was wearing his formal Sunday clothes which was his black silk cap,frilled shirt and his green coat which he never wore except on prize days and inspection days.
