Describe the validity of ray optics.​

Validity of Ray optics can be explained on the basis of The fresnel distance usually denoted by Zf. It is defined as the minimum distance a light ray has to travel before it bends from its original path. Mathematically, Zf= d2/λ, where d= size of source, λ= wavelenght of light used.
