Without civilization, we would still be nomads or essentially a hunter-gatherer society which remains in very small groups (8–12) and moves from location to location hunting, fishing and picking plants until the resources of that area are exhausted and the group is forced to move on to a richer area. Civilization allows you to farm, cultivate, breed and raise livestock, etc. which gives you the opportunity to form a homestead upon which you build houses and walls in an attempt to ever-expand and gather more people who can use their skills (blacksmiths, builders, repairmen, etc.) to make your homestead into a fortress that can offer every amenity without leaving the general area.

we do value for the freedom because if the freedom was not to be there then people would had been in jail and suffering from the British Raj and government whereas the civilization is also important for the development of the country.
