Fragmentation : In spirogyra an algae, when its filaments breakdown into two or more parts. Each part develops into a new spirogyra.

Budding : In yeast, a unicellular fungus, small buds arise from parent cells and detach after some time.

Spore formation : In bread mould and fern spores are formed in sporangium, when released they give rise to new plants.

By leaves : In bryophyllum the leaf margins have bunds which when come in contact of soil give rise to new plants.
