Describe the various ways by which seeds are dispersed.

Seed dissemination is assisted by the wind, water and animals. Seeds conjointly spread once the fruits burst with explosive  jérks:-

★ By wind:- Seeds and fruits of plants are carried over by the wind, water and animals. Winged seeds like drumstick and maple, lightweight seeds of grasses or furry seeds of oak (Madar) and furry fruit of the helianthus, get blown off with the wind to faraway places.

★ By water:- Seeds of plants close to water bodies typically develop by floating ability within the variety of a spongy or fibrous outer coat as in coconut and acquire spread by water.

★ By animals:- Spiny seeds with hooks that gets stuck to the bodies of animals and are carried to far places.  

Dispersion of seeds by detonating of fruits: Some seeds are dispersed once the fruits burst with fast  jérks. The seeds are scattered so much from the parent plant. This happens within the case of castor and balsam.
