Hio....
When heat flow or the movement of thermal (heat) energy from one place to another is called heat transfer. Heat transfer can take place in our houses through various ways :-
• From the air - We feel cool when we open the windows. The windows allow the hot air to escape out and the cool air to come in.
★ Close the windows to stop heat transfer
• From the walls - Heat can easily transfer from the walls by the process of conduction. The heat can escape or come in through the walls. The heat transfer is very less from the walls as compared to the windows or air.
★ Use a material that can resist heat transfer
• From the sunlight - The heat can easily enter by the sunlight coming inside the house. This is called radiation.
★ Use of curtains that can stop the sunlight from coming inside the house to stop heat transfer.
Hope it is clear enough to understand and helpful.... ^_^
