A flame consist of three zones.These are Innermost zone,middle zone,outer zone.The three zones of a flame have different colours and different temperature.

Incomplete combustion means the heat and light comes from the organic compound with the loss of hydrogen and thus a bright yellow flame comes out from this zone. This zone is hotter than that of dark inner zone of candle flame.

The middle zone of the candle flame is luminous because there is not enough air for complete burning of the wax vapour. ... It is the glow of hot carbon particles which makes the middle zone of a flame luminous.

a)the outermost thin faint blush non luminus region of complete combustion . it is the hottest zone of tge flame .

b)the middle bright luminous zone of partial combustion . it is the moderately hot zone .

c)the innermost , coldest dark zone , consists of hot vapour and called as zone of no combustion .

d)blue zone near the bottom of flame is due to burning of carbon monoxide . carbon is formed due to incomplete combustion .
