Describe the various Zones of a flame .
Answers
Answer:
Explanation:
A flame consist of three zones. These are Innermost zone, middle zone, outer zone. The three zones of a flame have different colours and different temperature.
Incomplete combustion means the heat and light comes from the organic compound with the loss of hydrogen and thus a bright yellow flame comes out from this zone. This zone is hotter than that of dark inner zone of candle flame.
The middle zone of the candle flame is luminous because there is not enough air for complete burning of the wax vapour. ... It is the glow of hot carbon particles which makes the middle zone of a flame luminous.
