Answer:The first step towards formation of seeds in plants is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma. After the transfer, the male and female gametes fuse/join together in the ovary. After fertilization, the petals, sepsis and stamens wear off, leaving only the ovary behind with ovules.The ovules after fertilization are called fruit. The developed ovule is called seed.
