one day golu met a mynah bird sitting in the middle of a bush, golu asked her “what does the crocodile have for dinner? ”in reply the mynah said“ you should go and check it out in the Limpopo river”.then he went home and took hundred of sugar cane ,fifty dozen bananas and twenty five melons. then he said goodbye to his family and said “I am going to find out what the crocodile has for dinner”.And he met a python and asked him,“ have you seen a crocodile? what does he look like? what does he have for dinner? ”.The python uncoiled himself from the branch of a tree but said nothing. Golu politely helped him to coil around the branch again and said goodbye to him. After that golu met a crocodile who winked at him.then golu asked “have you ever seen a crocodile ”.the crocodile lifted half his tail out and said “come near little one, why did you ask such question, I want to know, come close for I'm the crocodile ”.Golu was afraid, but answered “you are the very person I was looking for, please tell me what you have for dinner. ”Golu come closer to the crocodile and the crocodile caught him by the nose, then the crocodile said “I think you are my dinner tonight ”.Golu said “let me go, you are hurting me, Mr. crocodile ”.the python who was quitely following golu came to the bank and said “if you don't pull as hard as you can, the crocodile will drag you into the stream. ”then the python coiled himself round golu and said “pull harder ”.golu's nose kept on stretching and at last his nose grew five feet long and it was free from the crocodile.
