Describe the way energy flows in the ECOSYSTEM?

energy flows in a unidirectional in upward direction. the lowest trophic level has the largest energy than the next trophic level. in every trophic level some amount of energy is used and remaining is passed on to upper trophic level. so it is pyramid shaped.
