↪There are two types of fertilization such as internal fertilization and external fertilization:

➊. INTERNAL FERTILIZATION: the fertilization which takes place inside the body is called internal fertilization such as human being, car, dog, cat etc.

➋.EXTERNAL FERTILIZATION: the fertilization takes place outside the body is called external fertilization such as fish, frog, mosquito etc

Fertilization is the fusion of male and female....i.e. sperm of male and ovum of female........... is sperm(haploid) and ovum(haploid) fuse then they form zygote(diploid)....( 23 chromosomes of sperm and 23 of ovum and zygote __23+23=46...).....

there are two types of fertilization......

1. internal fertilization___ the type of fertilization that takes place inside the body.......(i.e. sperm fused with ovum inside the body).....

ex....humans and most mammals...

2. external fertilization__ the type of fertilization in which fertilization takes place outside the body......(sperm fuses with ovum outside the body..) ....

ex.... Frog___ female frog lays egg( ovum) in water and sperm of male fuses in water.......
