A farmer having having one hectare of land is called subsistence farmer because-
1.One hectare land is very less for trading purposes.
2.It is only for family consumption.
3.No any scope of trading purpose in one hectare of land by simple farming method.
4. For survival they have to work on another rich farmer's field.
5. For the farmer having only one hectare of land and they use simple farming method they do not get good output as by getting from modern method of farming.
