Working conditions were terrible during Industrial Revolution.

As factories were being built businesses had need of workers.

People worked 14 to 16 hours a day for 6 days/week.

Majority were unskilled workers who only received $8-$10 dollars a week working at approx 10 cents an hour.

Skilled workers earned little more.

Women received 1/3 or 1 1/2 pay that men received and Children receives less.

Owners concerned with making profit were satisfied due to labor less price.
