hydro P.P:

in this,the potential energy of water from height is used to rotate the turbine for electricity production.

harmful effects:

involves construction of dams causes-

-obstruction in natural flow of river.

-large ecosystem is submerged underwater.

-irregular sedimentation in reservoir causes floods.
