Munshi premchand novels are written by using characters of village and describe their problem s which they face. His novel like GODAAN he described the problem faced by by a Peasent couple Hori and Dhania. That how big landlords cover up their land and made them landless labour. He also describe the problem they face and how they have to live a difficult life.
In this way he reflect the the social conditions of the socity.
