Anne frank experience the pain of war at first hand. it is the war after all that was responsible for her family living situation. there are daily reminders that the country is at war, right down to food that is available. everybody's life is at constant danger. the adults in the annex followed the war news religiously via radio broadcast and spoke constantly about the war and their prospects after the war.towards the end of the diary when the allies began great progress against Germany annes diary entries document every battle and every landing -a great mirror not only into her excitement about the prospects of leaving the annex for good but also into the war situation
