Explanation:

Sanku was a very poor man. He lost his mother some days ago and wanted money to perform her funeral ceremoniously. He was also the father of two children and he and his wife were expecting a third child very soon. He wanted money to support his family.

He worked in an engineer's office and one day he found a gold watch lying carelessly on the engineer's table, he was tempted to steal it. He was thinking of the money that he will get by selling it and this money would end his sufferings.

He stole the watch but, he could not leave the office because he feared that the watchman will check his belongings and his theft would be discovered, and he would be lost his job, his only source of income. So, he went back and left the watch from where he stole it. This whole incident shows that Sanku was a good person and only his miserable conditions forced him to do such an act.
