THOMSON MODEL OF AN ATOM :
• in atom the electrons and protons are arranged randomly but this is not possible because since they are opposite charges they would collide due to the attraction between the positive and the negative charge. Thus the atom becomes unstable.
•there was no explanation given about nucleus and presence of neutrons.
