A Chatterbox',  'An Incorrigible Chatterbox', & 'Quack, Quack, Quack,' were the three essays that were written by Anne Frank

Explanation:

  • Mister Keesing, Mathematics Professor Anne Frank was angry at Anne because she was "very talkative". Because of this, he had given Anne Mary extra homework - to write an essay on the subject "A Chatterbox".
  • The task involved was to create persuasive reasons to justify the need to talk and Anne, after contemplating this question, wrote how talking was a woman's characteristic and that she would try hard not talk too much in class.
  • However, she could not assure if it would b successful. This made Mr. Keesing to laugh rather than to be upset and he gave her a second essay on "An Incorrigible Chatterbox". Anne completed that essay with her sense of humour, however these essays did not prove successful in accomplishing Mr. Keesing's objective of stopping Anne from talking in class Hence, he told Anne to write another essay titled, "Quack, Quack Quack said Mistress Chatterback". However, Anne turned the essay into  a poem on how a mother duck and with 3 baby ducklings were bitten to death by the father  swan only because they had quacked too much. This had won over Mr Keesing & he even read out Anne's poem in class, "adding along his comments".
  • After that, Anne was permitted to talk & Mr. Keesing did not give extra assignments to her. It also resulted in Mr Keesing opening up and cracking jokes in class.
