→ The President appoints the Chief Justice of India, Chief Justices of the High Courts and Judges of the lower courts.

→ All major appointments are made by the President.

→ All government activities take place in the name of the President . President is the symbol of all the people.

→ He may/may not make rules to simplify the transaction of business of the central government.

→ He appoints the attorney general of India and determines his remuneration.
