Electric current can be induced in a coil due to the relative motion between the coil and the magnetic field. There are a few ways to do :
1. Inducing current on a coil by moving the coil in a magnetic field.
2. Inducing current on a coil by changing the magnetic field across it.
3. By taking two conducting coils and insert them over a non conducting cylindrical roll then on changing current flowing in one coil, an induced current is obtained in the other coil.
