To improve soil with Nitrogen, we need to grow certain short term plants and while they start flowering, they should be cut and mixed with soil with , Rotavator machine. ex: Alfalfa, board beans, red clover,Lupin, Winter Tare etc…Any gram plants which produce rhizobium can work as manure plant.

Growing Gliricedia sepum plants all around the farm land and adding their leaves to soil also works as nitrogen fixer
