Course beard hair and fine soft under hair close to the skin are the two types of fibers obtained from the fleece of a sheep.

Fleece and wool bearing animals like sheep have fine soft hair which is found close to the skin in such animals.

The fine soft under the skin is called fleece.

Fiber for wool is obtained from the fleece(hair ) of such animals and hence such animals are called wool bearing animals.
