Sexual exploitation by way of human trafficking and other acts is a criminal offence, that can fetch a person seven years in prison up to life imprisonment. The Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act (ITPA) of the Government of India prohibits sexual exploitation as well as bonded and forced labour.

Sections 366(A) and 372 of the Indian Penal Code prohibits kidnapping and selling of minors with penalties for such offence, ranging up to ten years in prison and fine.

Answer:

When it comes to Article 23, it prohibits the traffic in people and beggar as well as remaining forms of the forced labours as well as regards them as the punishable offences under law.

The meaning of traffic is using the human beings as the goods for various commercial purposes and also making cash out of certain transactions.

The beggar or forced labour, where an individual is forced for working against their wishes, is punishable under the law.
