The traits of a good father are to be responsible, and affectionate. And I personally believe it as my father is the best person I have seen in my whole life. Being raised by a single parent is very stressful but my father has never failed to be a good parent and he always has been strong. He once said, “I am not going to be everywhere to take care of you, so you have to decide whatever you do will either be right or wrong.” These are those words that gave me power and encouraged me for doing good things and being a better person in general. It's been 9 years and he still has not given up on anything and teaches me to do the same. He’s my idol and I will never stop looking up to him. He has always taught me to be a good listener and accept my mistakes. There are times when I have cried because I know I will never be able to do the things for him as he did for me. Fathers are really the people who silently bear all the worldly pain just to come home and see their family smiling and forgetting all the cares of the world.
