(a) The parties are lacking internal democracy, which keeps many prospective leaders deprived of their rights.
(b) There have been dynastic successions in many political parties. This often deprives the parties of appropriate leadership.

1.) Lack of internal democracy..... In simple words it means that the leader of political parties are not chosen by all the members of that party, they are chosen by previous leaders.
2.) Dynastic succession... Means the leader of the political party is the son or daughter of the previous leader.

We often see the political parties give ticket to the rich person.
