Rights are social, legal, or ethical freedom principles; i.e. freedoms are universal moral laws about what is permissible or owed to individuals in compliance with any legislation , social convention, or theory of ethics.

Explanation:

  • Three specific categories of human rights criteria exist: civil-political , socio-economic and collective development principles. The two first are generally agreed principles, as defined in international treaties & conventions, which reflect potential claims by entities against the State. The final form, the most commonly debated and unrecognized as both legal & political, reflects a potential claim by societies or groups against the state.
  • Civilian & political rights provide two sub-types: civil & physical  protection norms (for instance, no violence , abuse, inhuman treatment, unlawful arrest; equality before the law; equality before the law); and norms associated with civil & political empowerment/liberties (for instance freedoms of expression, opinion and religion; freedom of speech,  voluntary association, assembly, political participation in one's society)
  • Furthermore, socio-economic rights comprise two sub-types of: the requirements related to the delivery of goods which satisfy social needs ( e.g. food, housing, health , education) and the norms for providing goods which satisfy economic needs ( e.g. work & fair incomes, sufficient quality of living and social safety net).
  • Finally, collective-developmental human rights also include two sub-types: the self-determination of peoples (for example, to their political status and their economic, social, and cultural development) and certain special rights of ethnic and religious minorities (for example, to the enjoyment of their own cultures, languages, and religions)
  • Finally, there are two sub-types of collective and developmental human rights comprising the "self-determination of the(for intsance, to their "political status" & to social,  cultural, & economic ,  development), and other special rights of the religious & ethnic  minorities (for example, to enjoy their own cultures, religions, & languages)
